Fun fact, that model of tercel is so small inside I can almost not drive it. Not Miata NA small but close.

I worked at a parts shop after high school for a bit and we had weird names for all cars. This was known as the “terkel” and I can’t pronounce it any other way since I heard it. Neither will anyone who reads this...
